DAY 01: Yangon arrival (D)

Mingalarpar! Welcome to the land of golden pagodas, Myanmar!

Upon arrival at Yangon airport, you will be greeted by our tour guide for the hotel transfer.

This remaining half day, you will visit the colonial city center, with its many cultural delights. Travel past faded colonial buildings, busy street markets, and glittering temples. End your tour at the magnificent Shwedagon Pagoda the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar. Although the origins of the pagoda are unclear, the local legend states that the original structure was built 2500 years ago then renovated several times until taking its current shape in the 15th century.

Enjoy your delightful dinner with cultural performance in Karaweik Palace.

DAY 02: Golf at Pun Hlaing Golf Club (B)

Breakfast at the hotel. Golf at Pun Hlaing Golf Club – The Pun Hlaing Golf club was established in 2000 and is located northwest part of Yangon, about 45 minutes drive from city center. Pun Hlaing Golf Club encompasses 18 holes championship golf course expertly designed by the renowned Gary Player, one of the world’s legendary golf players.

DAY 03: Yangon – Mandalay (B) (Flight)

After breakfast at hotel, we take short flight to Mandalay – the ancient capital of Myanmar.

Upon arrival we then spend the rest of the day discovering the ancient Royal Palace, known the last imperial kingdom of Burma. You also have chance to visit original Sandamuni, Atumashi pagoda. Drive back to your hotel and relax.

DAY 04: Ye Dagon Taung Golf Club (B) (Mandalay)

Spend this whole day for golfing at Mandalay golfing course. The Ye Dagon Taung Golf was established in 1996 and is located about 30 minutes drive west of Mandalay toward Maymyo.

The atmosphere of playing golf in this golf resort is totally different as it is located at the foot of the Yay Dagon Taung (Water Fall) Mountain. Take a round of 18 holes there then drive back to downtown for hotel check in back.

DAY 05: Mandalay – Sagaing – Inwa – Bagan (B) (Flight)

Take another day of touring to discover more about this city. Our tour spots include the highlights of Inwa (Ava) such as: Bagaya Monastery which built of 267 gigantic teakwood pillars, Maha Aung Mye Bonzan Monastery, Mae Nu Oak Kyaung and the leaning Nan Myint Watch Tower of Innwa, Queen Meenu’s brick Monastery. After that we go toward Sagaing to explore its highlights attractions consisting of Uhminthonzae  Paya, the very peaceful Swamooponyashin Paya, Khaungmudaw Stupa, Buhhda University, Buddha Cave and viewing point where you can enjoy the panorama of Mandalay then short visit to the silverware craft factory on the way back to Mandalay then board a flight to Bagan.

DAY 06: Bagan Balloon ride and Temples Tour (B)

Rise up early for famed Balloon ride. We will driver to Nyang Oo market area where balloon parks. After short safety instruction of our pilots, we start flying to welcome the sunsire over Irrawaddy river and thousand stupas. The ride takes about 45 minutes and we will land where the wind takes us.

Following with balloon ride, we will spend our full day discovering the old temples of Bagan. Our day begins with the visit to Nyang U market, the typical market of Bagan region with some interesting trading activities. After that, we will visit Shwezigon pagoda, the only golden spire in Bagan with unique architecture.

In the afternoon, we will visit the biggest temples of Bagan including Htilomino, Ananda pagoda. Indulge yourselves in the sunset cruise on Irrawaddy river.

DAY 07: Golf at Bagan Golf Course (B)

Golf at Bagan Golf Resort – The Bagan Golf course was established in 1996 and is located next to Amazing hotel at the back of the archaeological zone- and some of the holes play among the pagodas. Unlike other golf courses, it is located in the middle of the world-famous Bagan temples and pagodas. Surely is an oasis in the dry zone as the relaxing garden next to 11th century ruins and the Ayeyarwaddy river stretching out beyond. The 18 holes Bagan golf course wanders in between some of the ancient pagodas.

DAY 08: Bagan – Yangon (B) (Flight)

Embarking a morning flight back to Yangon. Enjoy your orientation tour of Yangon with a walk from Sule pagoda to Strand Hotel where you will encounter numerous of British colonial buildings and Emmanual Church. You will have chance to observe the local life on Yangon river side.

In the afternoon, we will visit Chautatkhgyi pagoda, famed for the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Myanmar, Botataung pagoda followed by a pleasant walk in royal place where you will admire Karaweik Palace and the green park of Kandawgyi. Your highlight of this day is the visit to Shwedagon, the most outstanding pagoda, dominating the skyline of Yangon with a magical golden flash.

DAY 09: Yangon – Bago Daytrip – Yangon (B) 

Enjoy a 2-hour scenic drive to Bago, also known as Pegu, which was the capital of the Mon Kingdom in the 15th century and is a town steeped in legend. Stops include the 55-metre long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha, the four seated Buddhas at Kyaikpun and the old palace of Kambozathadi, the Mon-style Shwemawdaw Pagoda 
While in Bago we’ll also take time to visit the city’s local sites, including the town market and a Mon neighborhood where the locals produce beautiful woven textiles.

Return to Yangon this afternoon, en route stop in Htaukkyan township to visit the Allied War Cemetery. This beautifully-landscaped, peaceful area is the final resting place for more than 27,000 Allied Soldiers who perished during the World War II campaign in Myanmar.
